A note on requests

If I ignore your request…

It could be because I couldn’t translate it

it could be because you sent me about 50 and I just don’t want to do them all

you might have sent something I already did (I’ll probably message you a link)

It might have been so grammatically incorrect that I didn’t know what you were saying (hasn’t happened yet)

It might have been offensive… also hasn’t happened yet.

Generally I don’t ignore requests, I just take a really long time doing them.

A note on requests

Now a bit about tattoos. First, don’t ink yourself with something you find on my blog without telling me about it. Theres about a 1 in 5 chance its google translated or spelled slightly wrong and I didn’t feel like redoing the whole thing. Second, I will work with you, a total stranger, to excessive lengths so you can get what you want. Don’t be shy, I’m also someone who intends to ink in the future. Third, if you ask for a tattoo I’ll private message you. I think my main blog will show up as the sender. unless you tell me to post the translation its for your eyes only. Fourth, I feel like I’ve said this a million times, Hylian is Japanese. I’m American. I can translate well enough but if you know someone who is also good at the language and you just want a Hylian translation of the Japanese, use them.

A note on requests

So I’m working on a few things I got in my inbox a wile ago, I’ve been putting some things off because they’re really really hard to translate. Phrases don’t go into other languages as well as you’d think, and don’t forget this is a Japanese script. I’ll still translate them, but they would sound very funny to a native speaker or just plane wrong. Sarcasm also doesn’t translate well ether, its not in the culture.
